Accelerate2030 offers a unique experience to work with other Impact Hubs, UN agencies, development organizations, corporates and investors that join forces to make impact on the Sustainable Development Goals through entrepreneurship. It’s also an opportunity to bring your Impact Hub to the next level, offering support to bring promising local solutions to scale.

  • Peer exchange and learning with other Impact Hubs across the globe, best practices and new projects.Funding support, guidance and the opportunity to engage with partners on a locally relevant but globally present initiative around the SDGs.

 

Implementing Hubs

Participation Check-List: 
  • Is your Impact Hub based in a developing/emerging economy where UNDP is present?
  • Does your team have experience in implementing incubation and acceleration programs, incl. working with mentors and experts? If not, do you have a strong desire to gain this experience?
  • Do you have a proven track-record in building local partnerships, including fundraising?
  • Do you have access to growth stage social enterprises in your country?
  • Are you excited about the program and working towards the SDGs?

In case more than one Impact Hubs from the same country apply, they will need to coordinate and jointly nominate a National Coordinator, who will be in charge of rolling out and implementing the program nationally. Please reach out to us if you need any guidance on this topic, we are happy to share examples of previous collaboration among different Hubs.

Deadline for application: 10 June 2020

Please note that this is the first cut-off date. Impact Hubs that are interested to join at a later stage will still be taken into consideration but we highly encourage everyone interested to apply now, so that we can start the onboarding process together, as well as the fundraising efforts.

2. Join Info Sessions for Implementing Hubs

Before the application deadline, the Accelerate2030 global team will host info sessions to present the program and address any questions from newly participating Impact Hubs.

  • Wednesday, 3 June at 4pm CET
  • Thursday, 4 June at 9am CET

3. Pre-selection for Implementing Hubs

Following the application deadline, each complete application will be reviewed by the Accelerate2030 global team and we will inform pre-selected Hubs by 19 June 2020.

“Pre-selected” status means that we are all starting the onboarding and fundraising process together, everyone working to mobilise the needed resources in their respective country. By end of year we will jointly decide if you have the minimum resources to move to the official launch in your country.

4. June – Dec: Join monthly fundraising calls

5. Confirm your participation (based on funds raised) by end of November 2020
